Our mission at J&M Family Chiropractic is to educate and anchor of our community in health by providing specific and gentle chiropractic to correct the root cause of health problems so that each person may function at their true potential.

We strive to serve, love, heal and transform our community into happier, healthier people!

1. What is Chiropractic? Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of locating and correcting interference in the nervous system, which are called subluxations, through specific gentle chiropractic adjustments that allow the body to communicate better and function more efficiently.

2. What is an adjustment? A specific, gentle non-invasive "thrust" delivered by an instrument called an Activator or Integrator. It's quick and gentle. The purpose of the adjustment is to remove nerve interference in your body, allowing for better function.

3. Will my adjustment hurt? We gently adjust numerous practice members ranging in age from 1 minute old to 101 years old! The doctors are patient, gentle, and understanding. Also, they use techniques that are so specific and gentle that allow for adjusting many different people. We are confident you will feel at ease in our office.

4. Can you help my sick child? We help lots of kids with many different ailments, and it's a priority for us to help children live a drug-free life as was intended. At your child's evaluation, we will discuss health
history, goals for care, and get more specific about how chiropractic can help.

5. How many times do I have to come? Every case is different; it is difficult to be sure how many visits you will need before the doctor has had a chance to evaluate you and determine what care you will need based on your health history, condition, and health goals. The doctors will present their recommendations for care on your second visit, after they've had a chance to evaluate you.

6. Will I feel better after getting an adjustment? Many people experience relief almost immediately after the first adjustment. For others, it takes longer and you may experience healing sensations. Your care is unique to you because HOW your body heals and responds is also unique. Studies show that immuneresponse improves, blood pressure normalizes, and antioxidant processes increase with regular chiropractic care. Patients commonly report more energy and mental clarity after the adjustment.

7. How much will chiropractic care cost? Every person and case is different, it is difficult to be sure how much it will cost before the doctor has had a chance to evaluate you and determine what care you will need. After your first visit, we'll have a better picture of what the financial aspect will look like, and will present that to you on your second visit. Investing in your health delivers quality of life.

8. What services do you offer? We offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care, and health and wellness education. J&M Family Chiropractic creates true community of practice members who care about their health and the well-being of those around them.

9. How long will it take to get adjusted? Your regular visit will usually take less than 15 minutes, that's it! If, however, you want to schedule extra time one-on-one to talk about a particular issue, just ask and we will schedule appropriately.

10. What if I feel fine; do I need to keep coming back? As doctors of chiropractic, we feel it is our responsibility to inform our members that "feeling fine" is not the same as functioning well. Your body is able to compensate for any underlying dysfunction for a while, but at some point it will pass the threshold and show up as pain. Once you're experiencing pain that means your body has been dealing with dysfunction too long! Our goal is to help restore and maximize your health through regular chiropractic adjustments to ensure optimal function.
